welcome to glen cove swim club!

In addition to picnic tables and a charcoal grill outside the pool deck, we are pleased to provide tables for members and guests.  Food items and snacks are permitted on the pool deck, but we ask that food is not brought into the pool at any time.  We do ask that members and guests only use tables for eating, and not as a storage spot for your gear, as table space is limited.  All members are responsible for cleaning up after themselves.  Thank you for your cooperation and we hope you enjoy this area!

Glen Cove Pool also proudly offers a snack bar, featuring ice cream treats, cold drinks, and a variety of chips, crackers, and cookies.  Ask a lifeguard or board member if you have questions (or requests)!

We are proud to be the home to the Glen Cove Pirates, a summer swim team for kids aged 5-18 years.  Practices are held in the afternoons before FCPS schools are released for the summer and in the morning during the remainder of the season.  The Pirates compete in five swim meets (on Saturdays) during the season.  Swimmers of all levels are encouraged to attend.  Please visit their Team Unify website for schedules and more information:  Glen Cove Pirates

The Glen Cove Swim Club is proud to serve the families of the Glen Cove communities and surrounding neighborhoods in Fairfax, Virginia.  The pool is conveniently located near the intersection of Guinea Rd. and Zion Dr., at 5471 Brigantine Way. We have a private parking lot as well as a baby pool and a regulation swimming pool with a dedicated lap lane and a diving well.  We also maintain a selection of pool toys for kids to use while at the pool. The pool hosts a variety of social events throughout the season, including "dive-in" movies as well as both family and adults-only pool parties. We also proudly host our youth swim team, the Glen Cove Pirates!

The New Year is here and you know what that means:

The 2024 Pool Season is Coming!

We've updated the membership forms for the 2024 season and made some changes to our parking policies for the year.  Our Annual Community meeting is coming up on April 17th at 7PM (via MS Teams) and we hope to see you there. The annual Open House and Pool Pass Photo Day will be Saturday, May 4 from 9am to 2pm, and our Memorial Day Weekend Kickoff Barbecue will be on the 27th. Please check out the pool pass requirements and non-resident membership application in our Membership section. Keep checking here and on Facebook for more updates as opening day approaches; we can't wait to see you there!

The Pool Board wants YOU to volunteer! We're in need of motivated members to help us plan for a successful season and keep Glen Cove Swim Club the best it can be!

The board of the Glen Cove Swim Club is comprised of volunteers from both Glen Cove Home Owners Association and Glen Cove Community Association.  We are always in need of enthusiastic volunteers who would like to join our team!  We have several vacant positions and welcome any volunteers to join our team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in our community, enjoy unlimited free guest passes, and free admission to all our events! Please contact us if you would like more information: glencovepool@gmail.com

We are happy to make the parking lot available to all of our pool members, year-round.  In order to ensure that this privilege is limited to paying members, we update vehicle registrations annually and require a current-year sticker on your existing hang tag.  Please review our updated parking policy and update your vehicle registration (this MUST BE DONE to receive your 2023 sticker!).  You may register as many vehicles as you like, but each household will only receive TWO parking hang tags.  Once you have registered, we will inform you how to pick up your passes.  Vehicles parked overnight without current tags and stickers will be subject to towing at owners' expense. Additionally, as part of our partnership with the Glen Cove Pirates Swim Team, the parking lot is occasionally restricted to Swim Meet attendees during the summer.  Meet dates and times are available on the Swim Team website, and closings are posted at the entrance to the pool parking lot and emailed to pool members.  Closings are also posted on our Membership page.

Please email questions or reservation requests to Bob Lockey (blockey67@gmail.com).
